Often games that run on full screen, which all most all games does, cannot be minimized to the taskbar. If you want to view the desktop or open some other program, you have to quite the game; there is no other way. In some games the Alt-Tab combination works but it’s rare. If that’s the case, use a small freeware program called GameMinimizer that will minimize any running game to the system tray, by pressing a hotkey, allowing you to truly multitask even when gaming!

The default hotkey is F12, but it can be changed. To change the hotkey in GameMinimizer, go to the folder C:\Program Files\Gameminimizer and open the file GameMinimizer.ini in Notepad. Then change the hotkey to any key of your choice. To prevent any application from minimizing when pressing the hotkey, there is a ‘Blacklist’ as you can see in the INI file. You can add your own applications to the blacklist.
GameMinimizer is very useful when you quickly need to check a walkthrough or even a cheat when you are stuck in a particularly hard part of the game. Now you can do it without quitting the game.

Google announced their browser Google Chrome to be available on Tuesday, but their download page and tour was already partly available at gears.google.com/chrome/
just now, as Uval in the forum noticed. While the download itself
didn’t work when I tried, I was able to extract some screenshots, from
the frontpage but also the YouTube videos. And while the product tour
videos themselves seemed to require a special group membership at

5. Movie Organizer
is a movie cataloguing software that is integrated with it’s own online
movie database called MOODb, apart from IMDB. When you add a movie to
your collection you will be able to search MOODb for information and
images which will be downloaded from the net and filled in
automatically. You can also upload data to MOODb if you find that
something is missing.
One unique feature of this program is that
you can upload your movie collection to MOODb, and get your own
personal Internet URL. Then all your friends can see what movies you
have in your collection at any time.
You must have already seen it, Google’s new favicon. It became the talk of the whole Internet. However, not many people are too happy with the change, including me. I liked the old favicon, colorful and with a capital G, as with Google. Google starts with a capital G, it’s not google (even Windows Live Writer has underlined it with a red wriggling line). The new icon is so bland. If you hate Google’s blue icon like me, then there is a way to get back the old one.
This will work only if you are using Firefox, because the solution to Google’s favicon “issue” is by way of using a userscript. The Google’s Old Favicon userscript was created the same day Google changed it’s favicon, 30th of March 2008. You will need the Greasmonkey script installed to use this userscript.
